“During my high school graduation, the ‘prophecy’ told by my batchmates about me was that I will become a jeweler. I believe that it actually happened for I have found the most beautiful jewel ... my Jesus.” (Liza, ssj)
A
colloboration of grateful hearts bound as one giving praise to God ... On April 16 at 6:00 in the morning, we
travelled from Holy Family Home, Iloilo City to Concepcion, a coastal town far north of the Province. After two and a half hours, we arrived at Liza's house welcomed by her family including those who came all the
way from Zamboanga, Mindanao.
Preparations needed for the occassion
-- in the Church and for the reception, all were ‘works of love and
gratitude’ by Liza’s family, old classmates, co-members of the Youth Ministry
of the Parish and even teachers. Even
neighbors shared their gifts / harvest for this event. Truly, gratitude permeates the atmosphere of
the community.
“Liza has found the
costliest pearl and finding it, she commits herself solely to the Giver of this
Pearl and we, in turn, witnesses to this event, thank God and unite ourselves with
her promising our prayers for her fidelity.”
As expected, the
celebration is never complete without the FAMILY sharing ONE meal ...
Can you see how big this
joyful family is? Incredible!!! GOD IS GOOD!!!
