What a joyful and meaningful celebration of the feast of the Holy Family we had! Thanks to the concerted efforts of the members of the Family Day Committee who spearheaded all the preparation and delegation of the tasks, as well as the participation and cooperation of the sisters and their family members.

DIOCESAN YOUTH CONVENTION Diocese of Alotau-Sideia, Papua New Guinea December 3-8, 2014

The gathering of 322 youth delegates from 17 parishes of the Diocese of Alotau-Sideia became a powerful witness that drew the attention of people in town to what was happening during these days of the Youth Convention. It was very much supported by several individual persons, families, religious missionaries and priests. The Diocesan Youth Convention Program was received by our youth delegates with interest and joy. It catered to their formation and developmental needs as they expressed, later on, with gratitude how much they have learned and benefited from it. Indeed, it was an experience of faith that stirred the COURAGE within each person who heeded the call to Come to Jesus through Mary. This is a blessed moment for all of them. The time has come for all the youth to stand together to proclaim their faith in Christ with rejoicing and thanksgiving. On the 3 rd day of December, 2014 at 1:30 p.m., the convention commenced with a Marian March where the parish youth
