THEME: “JESUS IN NAZARETH, LIGHT OF THE MANUAL WORKER”
(Fr. Francisco Butinya, SJ)
Date: November 5-8, 2015
Venue:  SSJ Provincial House, Quezon City

The 115 Talleres de Nazaret Co-workers from Quezon City, Mandaluyong, Silay and Cebu gathered together at the Siervas de San Jose Provincial House in Quezon City in order to:

·       Savor the gift / dignity of being a worker
·       Strengthen their bonds / connectedness
·       Reflect how each one has shared her experiences and learning with her family (how these experiences affected her family life)
·       Look forward on how they could share these growth-promoting experiences as their gift to the Church and the Society, and
·       Celebrate joyfully the 25th anniversary of Talleres de Nazaret Quezon City as one family

These objectives were attained through the following activities:

ü Team building at Phillip Sanctuary
ü Sharing of their best practices as workers in their respective taller
ü Talk of Dr. Alfredo Dimaano on “Workers as Evangelizers”
ü Eucharistic Celebration presided by Cardinal Antonio Tagle, DD
ü Conference about Fr. Francisco:  finding all situations as opportunities to witness and promote the Good News of Work:  Jesus in Nazaret, the Light of the Manual Worker
ü Group sharing and creative presentations
ü Dreaming for the future of the taller and commitment ritual
ü Colorful cultural presentation of the different regions by  the workers from each taller
ü Educational trip and recreation at the Manila Ocean Park
