AN OVERFLOW OF GOD’S BLESSINGS FOR 60 YEARS (Feb. 3, 1960-Feb. 3, 2020, HOLY FAMILY PROVINCE, PHILIPPINES)

Deep gratitude and joy for the 60 years of God’s fidelity of unconditional love to Sr. Rosario Sinco, SSJ and Sr. Julia Talicusay, SSJ was the pervading atmosphere that marked the celebration of their 60th anniversary of religious profession as Siervas de San Jose last February 3, 2020 at the Sagrada Familia Chapel of the Provincial House in Quezon City.

At 4:30 in the afternoon, a simple thanksgiving mass was presided by Fr. Jeganathan of the Claretian Missionaries. 

The inner composure, spontaneity, sincerity and heartfelt delight of Sr. Rosario and Sr. Julia when they renewed their vows and gave their thanksgiving messages individually, animated the whole assembly. It was truly a blessing to behold! 

The accompanying presence of the Provincial Superior Sr. Marcelina Sta. Cruz and the Luzon Cluster Coordinator Sr. Jennifer Uy together with the Sisters and formands from the communities-taller of Luzon which included among others the collaborators and a small number of guests, apparently set the tone of pleasure and happiness of belonging to one big family celebrating  a grace-filled event. After the Eucharistic celebration and photo shoots in the chapel, dinner followed and soon everybody enjoyed the food served.
